Our Skye jumper (or sweater if you’re in the USA) is a unisex, relaxed-fit garment designed to suit both men and women comfortably. Warm and naturally breathable, it’s an easy piece for layering throughout the seasons.
Made from 100% Isle of Skye wool, the yarn is mostly sourced from white Cheviot sheep, blended with a small amount of dark wool from other local breeds. Cheviot sheep are hardy and perfectly adapted to Skye’s rugged climate. While not as soft as lambswool — which typically comes from the fine wool of Australian Merinos — it is warm, durable, and full of character, perfect for those who enjoy an authentic island wool feel.
Each jumper is knitted by the skilled team at Teviot Knitwear in the Scottish Borders, an area renowned for its traditional knitwear expertise.
Both models in the photos are wearing a size M. The male model is 173 cm (5 ft 8 in) tall and the female model 165 cm (5 ft 5 in).
