Shipping (UK and International)
We will normally dispatch all stock items to you within 3 working days of your order. At that point we will send you a confirmation email including tracking details. We will contact you should there be any delays.
We use Royal Mail and Parcelforce for shipping within the UK. Delivery takes around 2 working days from point of dispatch. For orders outside the UK we work with Royal Mail and DHL. The delivery aim for international orders (including Europe) is about 7 working days.
Sales taxes and duties for shipping to EU and rest of world
The prices shown on the website include VAT (UK sales tax). We offer VAT-free shipping for goods that will be delivered outside the UK. The VAT will be removed at checkout when you enter the delivery address. Please note:
- EU: At the point of delivery you may be required to pay import tax and courier handling charges by your local delivery or postal service.
- Rest of world: At the point of delivery you may be required to pay import duties by your local delivery or postal service. Any additional taxes, fees or levies are according to local legislation.
These charges differ from country to country, so regrettably we are unable to advise on specific amounts. Customers are advised to check these details themselves before placing their order. If you are ordering products to be delivered to someone outside the UK, even if a gift, please make sure the recipient is aware that they may be responsible for additional charges at point of delivery.
The shipping costs are calculated automatically based on the weight and dimensions of your purchases and the shipping address.
Returning or exchanging an item
We are committed to making products of a very high quality and have a number of checks in place. Please let us know if a faulty product has escaped our scrutiny and we will replace it immediately at no further cost to you, or refund the full amount. We ask you to send the item back to us within 14 days of receipt. We will refund the return postage costs as soon as we receive the item back here. Please include your contact details and the reason for the return.
We try to take photos that show our products as accurately as possible. However, sometimes a photo on the website cannot convey what an item is really like. Please let us know if you are not totally happy with your purchase and we will refund you the full amount once you have returned the item to us (within 14 days of receipt). Unfortunately we cannot take responsibility for return postage costs. Please note, we are unable to accept returns of cut lengths of tweed so please order a swatch before placing your tweed order.
If you would like to exchange an item, please post it back to us within 14 days of receipt. We would ask you to pay for return postage costs. We will not charge you for sending the exchanged item to you, unless the price of postage has changed considerably. Please include your contact details, the reason for the exchange, and details of the new item you would like to get. If there is a difference in price between your original purchase and the exchange, we will adjust it by refunding or charging you. Please note, we are unable to exchange cut lengths of tweed so please order a swatch before placing your tweed order.
